More than 2 billion rubles were allocated for the maintenance of Kirov’s streets.
New contracts have been signed in Kirov for the maintenance of the street and road network. The work will be carried out by three organizations: Gordormoststroy, KUU-4 and Novovyatich. The total amount of the contracts exceeds 2 billion rubles.
Most of the funds will be allocated to clearing snow from roads and sidewalks, anti-icing treatment of streets, lawn mowing, road washing and garbage removal. The contractors’ tasks also include maintenance of traffic lights and road signs, applying road markings, and installation and repair of barriers.
This season the area of restored road surface will increase by 30%. The volume of cast asphalt used for pothole repairs in cold weather will rise to 900 tons. The area of roads to be repaired with hot asphalt in the summer will increase by 3,300 square meters.
The work plan for next year also includes repair of the roof and walls of the pedestrian overpass on Lenin Street. This was reported by the city administration.
