The official opening of the renovated fountain in Kirov Park will take place on September 21, local media report, citing Vyacheslav Simakov.

According to the reports, Kirov’s mayor Vyacheslav Simakov asked city residents not to rush to visit the fountain on the first day — festive shows will run daily until the end of the season and will continue next year.
At the same time, the area around the fountain can hold about 2–3 thousand people. For the safety of Kirov residents, the park administration will publish a detailed operating schedule.
Test runs are currently ongoing: the fountain is being turned on in 30-minute cycles with breaks.
