The region has set a maximum parental fee for kindergartens.
On the website of the government of the Kirov Region a decree was published establishing the maximum fee charged to parents (legal guardians) for the supervision and care of children in regional state and municipal preschool educational institutions located in the territory of the Kirov Region.
The fee for parents whose children are in groups with a full-day, shortened, extended or round-the-clock attendance regime in kindergartens in the city of Kirov will be 228 rubles per day. The minimum cost — 130 rubles per day — has been set for kindergartens in the Kiknur, Kilmezsky, Nagorsky, Nolinsky, Oparinsky, Sovetsky, Sunsky, Uninsky and Shabalinsky districts, as well as in Tuzha, Urzhum and Falenki.
Aside from Kirov, the highest parental fee has been set for kindergartens in Kirovo-Chepetsk — 219 rubles per day. In Slobodskoy parents will pay 173 rubles per day for one child attending kindergarten. The same amount has been set for Vyatskiye Polyany.
