A decree signed by the head of the region, Alexander Sokolov, introducing Maxim Gornostayev into the Government of the Kirov Region has been published on the regional government's website.
“Make a change to the composition of the Government of the Kirov Region, formed by the Governor of the Kirov Region’s Decree dated 23.09.2022 <...>, introducing into it as of 02.09.2025 Maxim Nikolaevich Gornostayev, Minister of Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the Kirov Region,” the document says.
Recall that Gornostayev’s appointment as the region’s Minister of Energy and Housing and Communal Services was announced last Tuesday, September 2, at the governor’s weekly meeting. Announcing Gornostayev’s appointment, Sokolov noted that the energy and housing and communal services sector is an extremely responsible area and that the well-being of every person in the region depends on it.
The resignation of Vladimir Klimentovsky, who held the post of the region’s Minister of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, was announced on July 21 at the governor’s weekly meeting. At that time Klimentovsky was praised for his effective work and presented with an honorary certificate from the Governor of the Kirov Region. Later, Alexey Zhuravlev was appointed acting head of the Ministry of Energy and Housing and Communal Services.
