It was revealed how much parents spend preparing their child for school in Kirov Oblast.

      Preparing children for school remains a significant expense for families in the Volga Federal District. As a study by CDEK.Shopping and hh.ru showed, 50% of respondents, including those from Kirov Oblast, stick to a budget of 10–20 thousand rubles. Another 20% spend 21–30 thousand, and 16% — more than 30 thousand rubles. Minimum expenses — up to 10 thousand rubles — were indicated by only 14% of survey participants.

      The largest school-related expenses are most often borne by middle managers — almost one in four spent more than 30 thousand rubles. The self-employed and freelancers generally fall into the 10–20 thousand range.

      The main item of expenditure for residents of the Volga Federal District (83%) remains clothing and footwear. Stationery and textbooks account for the largest share of spending for 27% of parents, 17% reported spending on sportswear and equipment, 11% on electronics, and 14% on clubs and extracurricular activities.

      Additional purchases during the year are most often made by production workers and those in blue-collar occupations — one in five respondents said so.
