The Emergency Hospital has renovated its intensive care unit.
Renovation of Intensive Care Unit No. 3 at the Kirov Emergency Hospital has been completed. It is housed in Building 6 at 47 Oktyabrsky Avenue and now occupies 200 square meters.
The walls, ceilings, floors and windows have been completely refurbished, an oxygen supply was installed, and modern medical equipment was put in place. In particular, the unit acquired a portable ultrasound machine. Medical staff have already been trained to work with the new equipment.
Among other things, the unit now provides renal replacement therapy and dialysis. One of the doctors will undergo additional training at the Sklifosovsky Institute, which will enable the introduction of new treatment methods, the Ministry of Health reported.
