An employee of an enterprise in Kirov Oblast was injured at work.
On August 26, at one of the woodworking facilities in the Lebyazhsky District, while working on a wood‑splitting machine, an employee born in 1962 sustained an injury to his hand. The man was taken from the scene to the hospital. He is currently receiving medical treatment.
The Urzhum Interdistrict Investigative Division of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region is conducting a preliminary inquiry on signs of an offence under Part 1 of Article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of occupational safety requirements). An investigator from the Investigative Committee is establishing all the circumstances of the incident. A decision will be made based on the results of the inquiry.
