According to the press service of the Gorky Railway, the most containers were collected at the stations in Nizhny Novgorod, Kirov, Vladimir, Cheboksary, Kazan and Izhevsk. The recyclables collected are sorted, cleaned, shredded and used to produce new goods — from bottles and clothing to furniture and footwear.
Users receive bonuses for each returned container. These can be exchanged for discounts from partner companies. To have bonuses credited when returning a container, you need to enter the phone number registered in the program.
There are currently 28 reverse vending machines installed at stations on the Gorky Railway. They operate in Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Izhevsk, Kirov, Vladimir, Agryz, Arzamas, Dzerzhinsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Zelenodolsk, Kovrov, Cheboksary, Murom and Yanaul.
