The new regime came into effect in January and has already proven popular among small businesses. Its main advantage is the absence of reporting requirements and the automatic calculation of taxes. All interaction with the tax authority takes place through an online personal account or a bank. Entrepreneurs do not pay social insurance contributions, and salaries are paid only by bank transfer. According to the tax authority, the automated simplified tax system is mainly chosen by small companies with annual revenues of up to 60 million rubles and a staff of no more than five employees. For them, the new regime has become a convenient business tool, allowing them to reduce accounting costs and make their operations more flexible.
