A new feldsher's station has opened in Makarye.
A new feldsher station opened in the village of Makarye in the Kiknur District, which will also serve residents of the neighboring village of Panchurgi. A total of more than 200 people live in these settlements.
The new building was constructed with patient convenience in mind: a ramp for people with limited mobility has been installed at the entrance; inside are a reception room, a procedure room, a waiting hall, rooms for instrument processing, and a restroom.
The FAP is equipped with new furniture, medical equipment, and office equipment. The feldsher's workstation is connected to the unified information system, which allows for maintaining electronic records, issuing referrals, and scheduling appointments with specialists. Necessary medicines can also be purchased at the post.
The Minister of Health of the Kirov Region, Ekaterina Vidyakina, added that the primary care modernization program has been extended until 2030. A program has been submitted by the region to the Russian Ministry of Health for approval, which foresees providing an additional 110 FAPs and medical outpatient clinics with new buildings in the 2026–2030 period.
