On the afternoon of August 18, a 57-year-old resident of Kirov, while drunk, stabbed a friend twice in the neck near one of the houses on Kommunisticheskaya Street in the Novovyatsky district. But he succeeded in carrying out the murder, since the victim was given medical assistance in time.
A criminal case has been opened against the Kirov resident. The investigator has charged him with committing the crime provided for in Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder). He was detained under Article 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation. The investigation is petitioning the court to impose pretrial detention as a preventive measure against him.
At the moment the investigator is establishing all the circumstances of the incident. In addition, the evidence base is being collected and secured.
