Investors are invited to invest in a hotel in Verkhoshizhemye for 10.5 million rubles.

      In Verkhoshizhemye of the Kirov region they are trying to revive an old idea — to finish building a hotel. To that end they are looking for an investor willing to put in 10.5 million rubles (initial investment amount, cost of acquiring the unfinished construction project) in an unfinished building that has stood empty for several years.

      The building is three stories and totals almost 700 square meters. It has a roof, windows and doors, but nothing inside — no engineering systems, no finishes. The investor’s task is to complete the project and commission it by October 2027, while the land lease remains in effect.

      The project authors say the settlement has a number of unique advantages. First, it is located just 80 kilometers from Kirov and is surrounded by picturesque nature: forests, ponds and places for outdoor recreation. Second, there is almost no competition — there are simply no modern hotels. Third, tourist traffic is provided by major events: the Governor’s Cup ski race, the military-patriotic festival “Soldier’s Album,” a summer triathlon and the Pokrov Fair. According to organizers, the area receives up to 30,000 visitors annually. Authorities say the new complex will solve several problems at once: tourists and athletes will be able to stay in decent conditions, and local residents will be able to hold weddings and anniversaries or simply stay at the hotel during active recreation.

      In addition, the investment portal promises support: from consultations with the Investment Development Agency to preferential loans under federal and regional programs. Plus — the nearby Shizhma sports and wellness center, where regional and federal competitions are held.

      However, the property is being offered for sale “as is,” and all completion costs will fall on the investor. There are no land-lease concessions, and the lease term is limited — the hotel must be completed strictly by 2027.
