A criminal case has been opened over the injuring of a minor girl as a result of being struck by a scooter rider.

Yesterday, August 18, near building No. 42 on Vorovskogo Street in the city of Kirov, an unknown person on a scooter struck a 3-year-old girl pedestrian. As a result of the accident the little girl was injured, the regional State Traffic Inspectorate reported. The scooter rider is currently being sought.
At the instruction of the acting head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region, a criminal case has been opened in this regard under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements for the life and health of consumers). Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
