Kirov-style romance: instead of dates — mandatory community service for unpaid child support
As reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for Kirov Oblast, every case in the work of bailiffs is unique, but sometimes it takes on a "cinematic scale." This time, officers of the bailiff department for the search of debtors and their property encountered family ties, love, an offense and punishment.
Thus, a resident of Kirov failed to pay alimony, and his debt continued to grow. The man skillfully hid from the bailiffs, so he was declared wanted in an enforcement search.
During the investigative activities, officers of the enforcement authority were able to establish the debtor's actual place of residence. Arriving at the address, they found that the debtor lives with and is in a close relationship with a woman who is also wanted for non-payment of alimony.
Due to the absence of valid reasons for non-payment of alimony, the man and the woman were held administratively liable under Article 5.35.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The court sentenced each of them to 20 hours of mandatory work. The couple tried to evade responsibility, but now they will continue to serve the sentence together by performing community service.
