A resident of the village of Averiny was fined because of livestock.
In the village of Averiny in Afansyevsky District, a local resident was fined for keeping livestock in violation of veterinary rules. According to the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Kirov Region, on July 28 this year the Office carried out a supervisory measure — an unscheduled inspection of a citizen’s private household farm, who keeps 62 pigs, 52 cows and 29 sheep.
During the inspection it was found that the livestock were kept in violation of veterinary rules. In particular, the farm’s premises were not fenced in a way that would prevent the entry of unauthorized persons, vehicles, stray animals and wild animals. There was no disinfection barrier at the entrance to the farm, and there were no isolated premises for each species of animal when they were kept together. Also, disinfected work clothing and footwear were not used when entering the livestock premises and tending to the animals.
