A driver of a logging truck without license plates was found in Kirov Oblast.

      In early August a video appeared on social networks showing a logging truck carrying a load driving on a road in the Kotelnichsky District without license plates. The absence of registration plates complicates finding the owner in case of violations or accidents, and can also facilitate illegal activities, including violations in the field of forest use.

      After the publication, Governor Alexander Sokolov appealed to law enforcement agencies asking them to find the offender and bring him to justice. Officers of the State Traffic Inspectorate identified the driver. He and his employer will be held administratively liable.
