From August 31, 2025, Russia will change the rules for paying the state fee for licenses to retail alcohol sales, including the catering sector. Payment will now be required for each year of the document's validity and for each place where alcohol is sold: for rural establishments — 20,000 rubles, for all others — 65,000 rubles. The new amounts will also be charged when reissuing licenses due to an increase in the number of points of sale. For reissuing a license for other reasons provided for by federal law, the state fee remains unchanged at 3,500 rubles. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Kirov Region advises businesses to pay careful attention when calculating the state fee to avoid errors and delays in operations.
