      A man was brought to the Traumatology Center who explained that he was beaten and had his silver bracelet stolen by unknown individuals at a lake on Severo-Sadovaya Street.

      According to the Kirov Regional Department of Internal Affairs, a criminal case was initiated under Part 4 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery committed with infliction of grievous bodily harm).

      Investigators established that on that day, the victim struck up a conversation with two strangers relaxing by the lake. Later, he went with one of them to buy alcohol. On the way, the new acquaintance demanded the man give him the silver bracelet. When he refused, the attacker picked up a bottle from the ground, broke it, and, threatening the man, snatched the bracelet from his wrist. Then, he beat the man, striking him with hands and feet.

      Hooligan Unit officers identified the suspect and detained him. He turned out to be a 38-year-old Kirov resident previously convicted multiple times. The man is currently in custody, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of remand is being decided.
