The prosecutor's office of Kilmessky district filed a lawsuit on behalf of a 10-year-old girl and succeeded in recovering moral damages from the owner of two aggressive dogs.

The incident occurred on November 21, 2024: without proper control by the owner, the animals attacked the child, leaving wounds on her leg. The girl experienced physical pain and emotional distress, the authorities added. The court sided with the prosecutor’s office — the dog owner is obliged to pay the victim 15,000 rubles in compensation. The enforcement of the judgment is under the supervision of the oversight agency.
