On the night of July 30 to 31, water began to flow strongly from a sewer hatch at the intersection of Lenin and Morozovskaya Streets. Witnesses reported that they could not cross the road normally without wetting their feet with dirty and foul-smelling water.
The press service of MUП "Vodokanal" stated that after receiving information about the water leak, a night emergency repair crew arrived at the site on July 30. They assumed the problem was in the manhole. It was decided not to shut off the water to avoid leaving residents without morning water procedures.
"Currently, a day shift of the emergency repair team has arrived to disconnect the cold water supply, pump out the water from the manhole, and determine the exact location of the defect. Water will be supplied to residents of the area. Work will continue until the defect is fully eliminated," the company said.
