Today, the City Duma considered the issue of transferring real estate objects from the ownership of the Kirov City Municipality to the ownership of the Kirov Region. The properties include buildings with land plots located at 11a Spasskaya and 116 Nikitskaya, with areas of 689 and 249 square meters respectively. The first is a regional cultural heritage site, and the second is a federal one.
In April, a gratuitous use agreement was signed for both buildings with the regional Center for Tourism Development for a three-year term. Since laws allow the transfer of such real estate to the region in similar cases, the government proposed this initiative.
Subsequently, the buildings will house a Dymkovo toy museum and a museum dedicated to the Vasnetsov family. The deputies supported both initiatives.
It should be noted that today, the Duma also approved an extension of the gratuitous use term for the premises at 53 Preobrazhenskaya Street for the Kirov Pioneer Organization. Currently, renovations are ongoing there, and in the future, museum, library activities, and various meetings will take place.
