According to materials from the prosecutor's office sent to preliminary investigation authorities under paragraph 2, part 2, article 37 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, a criminal case was initiated based on an investigation into the enforcement of legislation on enforcement proceedings and the protection of the rights of minors. The man was convicted under part 1, article 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (failure to pay for the maintenance of a minor).
