The bird hunting season starts on July 25.

      Starting July 25, hunters are permitted to hunt wetland and meadow birds with retriever dogs. The season for game birds from bogs, fields, and steppes opens on August 5.

      Hunting periods:

      wetland and meadow birds — from July 25 to November 30;

      game birds from bogs, fields, and steppes — from August 5 to February 28 (29);

      waterfowl — from the third Saturday of August to November 30.

      To hunt in public lands, the following are required:

      hunting permit;

      weapon license;

      resource harvesting permit.

      In designated areas, a special permit is additionally required. Up to three people can hunt with one dog.
