Construction work has begun in Kirovo-Chepetsky to create the "Dvurechye" park. The project became the winner of the all-Russian competition for the best solutions in creating a comfortable urban environment.
This week, a contract was signed with the contracting organization, after which specialists began preparing the site. The fencing of the area has been completed, geodetic marking has started, old paving slabs are being dismantled, and hazardous trees are being removed. The apple alley "Victory Garden," planted by veterans, will remain untouched.
It is planned that the new park will connect the "River of Time" square with the embankment. A dry fountain, observation platform, amphitheater, sports and playground areas, swings, gazebos, bike paths, and a dog-walking area will appear on its territory.
The project is implemented as part of the federal program "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment." The cost of the work is 148.5 million rubles.
