Three residents of Kirov convicted of prostitution, kidnapping, and drugs
A court in Kirov delivered a verdict in a case involving human trafficking, kidnapping, and drug possession. Three local residents, including a married couple, appeared before the court.
From January 2022 to February 2024, the accomplices organized prostitution activities. They recruited girls, conducted interviews with them, accepted orders from clients, controlled payments, and collected money.
In February 2024, one of the defendants, upon learning that a girl was working with other people, forcibly put her into a car and drove around the city for some time, preventing her from getting out. Additionally, this man bought and stored drugs. He also got behind the wheel while intoxicated, despite having already received an administrative penalty for this.
The court found him guilty and sentenced him to seven years in a high-security penal colony. His accomplice was sentenced to five and a half years of imprisonment. The woman was fined 250,000 rubles. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
