"Uralchem" and the Government of Kirov Region will allocate about 58 million rubles for the development of Kirovo-Chepetsk.

According to the terms, "Uralchem" and the Government will allocate 58 million rubles for the development of Kirovo-Chepetsk — 29 million rubles from the Company and 29 million rubles from the regional Government.

The event was attended by the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, the director of the "KChHK" branch, Yuri Shulga, and the head of the Kirovo-Chepetsk administration, Stanislav Kovalenko.

Stanislav Kovalenko, head of the Kirovo-Chepetsk administration, thanked the regional government and "Uralchem" for their attention to the city. The funds will be used for the construction of "Dvurche" park, improvement of public areas: sidewalk repairs, the creation of a turnaround circle, parking lots, and access roads to the "Chepetskaya" station.

Alexander Sokolov, governor of the Kirov region:

The agreement brings together efforts from the municipality, the region, and business. Each party invests resources into a common cause. The residents of Kirovo-Chepetsk determine how these resources are spent. This serves as an example for our other municipalities. Every year, we sign a similar agreement. Thanks to the company for already investing significant funds in several important social projects.

Yuri Shulga, director of the "KChHK" branch of JSC "Uralchem":

Signing such agreements has become a customary event for us. When we first started this form of cooperation, the allocated funds mainly went towards road repairs. Now, we are focusing on creating comfortable conditions for living, leisure, and development of the residents. In celebration of Kirovo-Chepetsk's 70th anniversary, "Uralchem" will support the city in creating a comfortable urban environment — we will co-finance a major project, winner of a nationwide contest — "Dvurche Park." Since 2016, under similar agreements, "Uralchem" has invested over 250 million rubles in the development of Kirovo-Chepetsk's infrastructure.
