The drunk driver was confiscated of his ATV.

      On February 15 of this year, a 39-year-old resident of Nolinsky District, intoxicated, drove a KAYO quad bike and rode through the streets of Medvedok settlement. At some point, he was stopped and detained by police officers from driving a vehicle.

      During the identification process, it was found that he had previously been subjected to administrative penalties for drunk driving.

      This time, the local prosecutor's office supported the state prosecution in the criminal case against the man. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person previously subject to administrative sanctions or with a criminal record). The court agreed with the prosecutor’s opinion and sentenced him to a fine of 100,000 rubles and a six-month disqualification from driving.

      Additionally, the court applied the provisions of Article 104.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (confiscation of property), and the offender’s quad bike was forfeited to the state.
