Summer without a vacation: Kirov residents are mass updating their resumes and looking for new jobs

      This summer, the job market in Kirov saw a noticeable increase in job seekers: residents of the region started searching for new jobs and updating their resumes one-third more often. According to analysts, over the past month alone, residents of Kirov posted and updated more than 31,000 profiles — a 33% increase compared to the previous year.

      The most active in searching for new vacancies were employees in the automotive industry — their resumes increased by 46%. Second place was taken by transport and logistics specialists, with a 42% growth. The top three also included workers and strategic and consulting professionals, with a 41% rise in new resumes in a month.

      Summer did not prevent those working in the HoReCa sector (hotels and catering) from becoming more active: their resumes increased by 40%. IT specialists, as well as domestic and service staff, searched for jobs more frequently — these categories grew by 34%.

      Overall, experts note that compared to last summer, there is no sector in the Kirov region where interest in finding a new job has decreased.
