A woman from Kirov trusted a "domestic intercom technician" and lost her savings.
A woman from Kirov received a message on WhatsApp from a stranger posing as a doorphone maintenance company employee. The interlocutor claimed that a barrier would be installed at the entrance to the yard of the house where the victim lives, and residents needed to obtain key fobs. The scammer sent a link to download a special app onto the smartphone. During the installation, he insisted that the woman enable device control and screen viewing functions. Following the man's instructions, she made three transfers to the specified numbers, totaling 195,000 rubles. After that, the stranger ended the communication and deleted the chat. At that point, the woman realized she had been chatting with scammers and contacted the police.
