The price of a liter of gasoline has risen again.
On Friday, July 11, drivers in Kirov again saw an increase in fuel prices. At LUcomp, the most numerous gas stations in Kirov, the price per liter of AI-95 "Euro" gasoline rose by 20 kopecks to 62.33 rubles.
It is worth recalling that the previous fuel price increase in Kirov occurred last week: on Thursday, July 3, the price for 95 "Euro" also increased by 20 kopecks, reaching 62.13 rubles.
Note that the promises made by Governor Sokolov, to whom drivers complained about the constantly rising gasoline prices back in 2023 and who pledged to address the issue—particularly by introducing "Tatneft" to the region—remained empty words. He promised that in 2024, "Tatneft" would enter the Kirov region, competing with the already dominant "Lukoil" and helping to at least hold, if not reduce, fuel prices from weekly increases—but in the regional government, they apparently "dinged" this idea: by mid-2025, there is not a single gas station from the neighboring Republic in the region, and Governor Sokolov has ceased raising this issue.
