Conditions in children's camps in the Kirov region have been checked.

      Minister of Education Natalia Bastrikova and Children's Rights Commissioner Vladimir Shabardin visited three children's camps — "Berezka," "Sputnik," and "Ivkino." They assessed how children’s recreation and safety are organized and spoke with children and educators.

      At the "Berezka" camp, where 274 children are currently resting, two new buildings were opened. The children reported that they like the programs, food, and the attitude of the counselors. At "Sputnik," 208 campers are engaged in arts and yoga. In "Ivkino," the shift has just begun, with 300 children arriving.

      After their visits, a meeting was held with the participation of representatives from the education sector, Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and camp directors. They summarized the first half of summer. It should be noted that in June, 451 camps operated in the Kirov region, where 37,000 children vacationed.
