
One in three residents of Kirov has experienced arguments at work over air conditioners.
In Kirov, 37% of office workers reported that arguments over air conditioner settings occur in their teams, according to the SuperJob service.
More than half of respondents—51%—said that such conflicts do not happen in their offices. An additional 12% noted that there are no air conditioners in their workplace at all.
Women proved to be more sensitive to temperature and more frequently involved in disputes over climate control settings than men. The highest share of conflicts was observed among workers over 45 years old—45% of them had experienced such issues. Among employees under 35, 36% reported disputes, and in the 35 to 45 age group—30%.
It also turned out that income level influences the frequency of conflicts. Among those earning over 100,000 rubles per month, 45% admitted to disputes over air conditioners. Among workers earning less than 50,000 rubles, such problems occurred in 29%.
