More than 40 thousand Kirov residents work at small enterprises

      According to Kirovstat, the number of employees at small enterprises in the region amounted to 44.1 thousand people. Of these, almost half of the workers were employed in manufacturing and trade. On average, one such organization employed 30 employees.

      It is noted that in January - March 2025, wages of employees of small enterprises increased. Now it amounts to 54,800 rubles per month: 17.7% more than in the same period last year.

      According to Kirovstat, the turnover of small enterprises in the first three months of this year amounted to 51 billion rubles. Almost half of this amount was accounted for by wholesale and retail trade enterprises (47.1%). Manufacturing enterprises accounted for 23.3% of turnover, while the remainder was provided by enterprises of agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming.

      Food production (19.4%) and wood processing and the manufacture of wood products, cork and straw (16%) bring the most money to manufacturing industries.
