The Ministry of Transport has offered Kirov residents who cannot buy air tickets to travel by other means of transport.

      Today, at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly committee, one of the deputies asked a question about expensive air transportation and the lack of any alternative for people. According to him, sometimes the cost of air tickets to the same St. Petersburg reaches 20 thousand rubles. The MP asked what to do for families, for example, of four people who would like to travel to this city, and how the Ministry of Transport plans to solve the problem.

      The acting Minister of Transport replied that, in addition to airplanes, there are other types of transport — trains, cars. "Do you know how much a compartment ticket to St. Petersburg costs?" the deputy asked. And when he didn't hear an answer, he added that the money would be plus or minus the same amount. "But there is not only a compartment, a reserved seat," the speaker replied uncertainly. The deputy was also not satisfied with this answer.

      Further, specific questions were raised about whether the Ministry of Transport could find money so that subsidies could at least slightly regulate the increase in air ticket prices. However, judging by the speaker's answers, this is out of the question so far.
