Kirov region attracted 126 billion rubles of investments
At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Kirov Region signed agreements worth 126 billion rubles. This is twice as much as we managed to attract last year. The region presented projects aimed at developing the urban environment, including the construction of a world-class campus in Kirov.
The Kirov Region's stand at the forum was visited by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Presidential Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov. The regional delegation took part in a meeting with federal experts and representatives of leading enterprises.
According to Governor Alexander Sokolov, in addition to investment agreements, the region has improved its reputation. Representatives of the federal authorities, business and the media showed interest in the projects and initiatives of the Kirov region.
