According to the data hh.ru . 19% of residents of the Kirov region prefer to stay in their native region, even if it prevents them from finding a new job. This trend is gaining momentum: People are increasingly choosing stability and attachment to their hometown.
Most of them are not against temporary business trips, but they are not ready to move to another region. This is especially pronounced among retail workers — almost a third do not want to leave their city. One in four of them is among doctors and representatives of the transport sector.
For those who are not planning to move, there are still real chances of a high-paying job. The job market is offering more and more remote or local offers with decent salaries. Thus, the median salary for remote employees in the Kirov region in 2025 was 58.4 thousand rubles, which is even slightly higher than the average salary in the region.
Experts advise such applicants to look for vacancies marked "remote" or "regional office", participate in internships and monitor corporate programs. Many large companies offer decent pay even in small towns if the candidate has the necessary skills and experience.
