The average salary in the Kirov region reached 62 thousand rubles.

      According to Kirovstat, in January-March, the average nominal accrued salary in the Kirov region was 62 thousand rubles. This is 16.8% more than in the same period last year. In real terms, the growth was 5%.

      Wage increases were recorded in all sectors of the region's economy. The most noticeable growth is in agriculture and forestry, as well as in culture, sports and entertainment. Salaries there increased by 22%. The least increase was in public administration, social security and mining — an increase of only 9%.

      In total, more than 346 thousand people work in the organizations of the region. One in four works in manufacturing industries, where the average salary has reached 75 thousand rubles. Workers engaged in the production of electronic and optical products have the highest incomes in this sector. Their average salary was 99 thousand rubles.

      Employees of financial and insurance organizations, specialists in the field of information and communications, as well as workers of a number of industrial enterprises also receive significantly higher than the regional average.

      In the social sphere, salaries remain below the regional average. Doctors, social workers, teachers, and employees of cultural institutions receive an average of 47 to 55 thousand rubles. At the same time, it is in these industries that a significant part of all employees of the region are concentrated.

      The lowest salary in the first quarter was recorded in the field of hotel business, catering and administrative services — less than 43 thousand rubles.
