In Kirov, the investigation of a criminal case against a 41-year-old local resident has been completed. She is accused of participating in a fraudulent scheme involving the deception of pensioners.
In the summer of 2023, a Kirov resident responded to an ad in a messenger about a part-time job. She was offered the role of a courier, whose task is to collect money from the victims. Unknown people called the people she visited and informed them that their relatives had allegedly been in a serious accident and that money was urgently needed to resolve the issue. The woman took them away and transferred them wherever she was told. She received a small percentage for each transfer.
As a result, elderly residents of Kirov were deceived. The total damage amounted to over 440 thousand rubles. The woman's identity was established by police officers, after which she was detained. The criminal case was sent to the Novovyatsky District Court.
