A pile-driving unit is being prepared for assembly at the site of the future tunnel under the Trans-Siberian Railway. According to the city administration, part of the equipment for its assembly has already arrived, the delivery of the remaining elements is expected in the near future. After completing the assembly of the pile-driving unit, the contractor will begin an important stage of construction: the hammering of the dowels, which will serve as the power frame of the underground structure. It is planned to hammer in the dowels as early as next week. The contractor explained that the dowels will serve as fences during the development of the starting pit.
The facility also continues to rebuild engineering networks, including by the method of punching, which allows pipes to be laid without opening the ground.
