      The Selmash Group is expanding its field of activity and organizing an agro-industrial holding company. This was announced by the company's CEO Alexander Churin on his tg channel. "We had a productive meeting with the head of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, during which I presented Alexander Valentinovich with a new large-scale project of the Selmash Group to create an agro-industrial complex in the region," says Alexander Anatolyevich.

      As follows from the message, the agricultural holding will be located in the southern regions of the Kirov region. At the same time, Churin does not intend to compete in the domestic market — the agricultural holding's products are intended for foreign markets.

      Investments in the project are announced at the level of 60 billion rubles.

      Alexander Churin did not provide any more details. It can be assumed that we are talking about dairy production: business development in this direction looks logical, given the presence in the Selmash Group of an enterprise for the production of equipment for dairy farms "Selmash — Dairy machines".
