Post office opening hours will change on Russia Day
Kirov Region post offices will adjust their work schedule in connection with the celebration of Russia Day. The changes will affect both the holiday itself and the working day preceding it.
June 12 will be a full-fledged weekend for most Russian Post offices in the region. The only exception will be city offices that issue orders from online platforms. These points will continue to serve marketplace customers as usual.
On June 11, the working day in post offices will be reduced by one hour. However, this restriction will also not affect offices with points of delivery of goods from marketplaces. They will work according to the standard schedule.
On the holiday, postmen will suspend the delivery of letters, parcels and periodicals. The distribution of correspondence and the press will resume after the weekend.
To ensure uninterrupted receipt of social benefits, some rural offices may operate on a special schedule. This will allow residents of remote settlements to receive timely pensions, benefits, mailings and subscription publications.
