      "It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that our colleague Leonid Mikhailovich Sannikov passed away on June 7. This loss was a real shock for the staff of the Center for Traumatology, Orthopedics and Neurosurgery," the Center's public page on the Vkontakte social network reported.

      Leonid Mikhailovich's colleagues said that his professional activity was inextricably linked with the Center, where for many years he worked as an orthopedic traumatologist and head of the department of reconstructive surgery.

      "Over the years, Leonid Mikhailovich has proved himself to be a great professional, whose skills have no equal, a bright, decent man who treated colleagues and patients with respect. A teacher for a whole generation of traumatologists, an example and an idol for many. His career in medicine is a story of dedication and love for his profession and people," the doctor's colleagues said and expressed their sincere condolences to Leonid Mikhailovich's family and friends.
