A sock thief was detained in Kirov
The other day, at about 13:30, an alarm signal was received from a store on Komsomolskaya Street in Kirov. The Russian Guards rushed to help at the specified address.
On the spot, they identified a visitor, born in 1954, who put six cans of coffee and a pair of men's socks in a bag, after which he tried to leave the store without paying for the goods. The damage amounted to almost 2,500 rubles. When checking the documents and establishing the identity of the detainee, it turned out that the Kirov resident was wanted for such theft.
Another case of theft occurred on the same day at the beginning of the tenth evening. Law enforcement officers arrived at the store on Shchors Street, where they detained a 39-year-old resident of Kirov, who stole goods worth more than 4,500 rubles. It was established that the man was also wanted on suspicion of committing a similar theft.
The detainees were handed over to the police for further investigation.
