Kirov region is among the outsiders in terms of gasoline availability

The Kirov region ranked 63rd out of 85 in the AI-92 gasoline availability rating by the end of April 2025. According to a RIA Rating study, residents of the region can buy only 935 liters of fuel for an average net salary. This is significantly lower than the Russian average of 1,385 liters.

The average price of a liter of AI-92 gasoline in the region was 55.09 rubles, which is slightly lower than the national level (56.48 rubles). However, the low cost of fuel does not compensate for the low level of income. It is precisely because of the lack of purchasing power that the Kirov Region found itself in the bottom third of the rating.

Since December 2024, the price of gasoline in the region has increased by only 0.9%, which is one of the most modest growth rates in the country. However, this did not help improve the region's position in the rating: in terms of available fuel, the Kirov Region is inferior to most of its neighbors in the Volga Federal District.

The leaders of the rating are the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, Chukotka and the Magadan Region, where residents can purchase more than 2,000 liters of gasoline per month. Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria and the Ivanovo Region complete the list.
