Kirov region increases export of sweets
In the Kirov region, the results of the work of food and processing industry enterprises for the first half of 2025 were summed up. More than 500 companies and individual entrepreneurs work in this area in the region. The industry is based on dairy and meat processing plants, confectionery factories and beverage manufacturers.
Compared to 2024, there was an increase in shipments by individual product groups. Exports of confectionery, beverages, sauces and animal feed increased especially.
According to the government, the increase in exports is due to the high quality of products. Kirov companies regularly receive awards at Russian and international exhibitions. In recent years, the region's products have been awarded more than 150 medals and quality marks, including the "100 Best Goods of Russia" and "Quality Assurance" awards.
