The management company recovered one and a half million rubles from a competitor
The Arbitration Court of the Kirov region has ruled on a dispute between two management companies. The Comfort Territory Management Company demanded almost 3 million rubles from Vyatkastroyexploitation Management Company for unfulfilled obligations to maintain an apartment building.
The dispute arose over a house at 56/1 Pyatnitskaya Street in Kirov. From December 2019 to July 2023, this house was managed by VyatkStroyExploitation. In August 2023, management moved to the "Comfort Territory".
The court calculated how much money should have gone, but did not go, to carry out work in the house for the entire management period. This amount amounted to more than 1.4 million rubles. Interest for using other people's money was added to it.
As a result, the court decided to recover 1.5 million rubles from Vyatkastroyexploitation in favor of the Comfort Territory. The respondent company tried to appeal the decision, but the Court of Appeal upheld it.
