Kirov residents deposited almost a ton of change in banks
During the "Coin Week", residents of the region exchanged more than 218 thousand coins worth over a million rubles.

In April, the Coin Week campaign was held in the Kirov region. During this time, residents of the region brought more than 218 thousand coins of various denominations to the banks. The total amount was over 1 million rubles, and the weight of all the small items reached about 1 ton.
Most often, the participants of the action handed over coins with a face value of 10 rubles. Their total amount exceeded 997 thousand rubles. The accumulated change could be exchanged for free — for banknotes or with transfer to a bank account. Some banks additionally offered to receive commemorative coins in return.
