Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank Khlynov took part in the VII Congress of the Association of Banks of Russia

      The event was attended by representatives of the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Finance, and heads of relevant parliamentary committees. Among the key speakers were Olga Polyakova, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia, and Ivan Chebeskov, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation. The Congress was also attended by representatives of the country's leading credit institutions, including Ilya Prozorov, Chairman of the Board of Khlynov Bank.

      The participants of the event shared their expert opinions on the role of the banking sector in financing priority projects and stimulating the investment process, and raised topical issues and issues. In particular, measures to strengthen economic stability, attract investment and develop digital financial instruments were discussed. Special attention was paid to the issues of supporting technological sovereignty, reducing the risk weight on loans and bonds intended to finance "green projects", as well as improving syndicated lending.

      Ilya Prozorov, Chairman of the Management Board of Khlynov Bank, made a number of initiatives and statements aimed at supporting and developing regional financial institutions. In particular, he noted that compliance with regulatory requirements and the introduction of new technologies are costly for small and medium-sized banks, which negatively affects their profits and development.:

      "Credit institutions incur high costs, even for minor decisions from the point of view of business effect. For example, the refinement of the SBP (Fast Payment System) functionality, an alternative to which already exists on the market, requires significant material and resource costs from us, while it does not provide for monetization," he stressed.

      Ilya Prozorov also paid attention to the topic of alliances and associations of regional financial institutions proposed by the Bank of Russia, called on credit institutions to actively cooperate with IT companies and use low-cost digital solutions, and stressed that regional banking is an important component for the sustainable development of regions and strengthening the financial system of the whole country.

      Following the meeting, the Congress adopted several organizational decisions, approved a report on the results of the Association's work over the past year, changes in the composition of the Council and a number of other documents.
