Kirov residents begin to be informed about the renaming of streets

On July 1, the decisions of the Kirov City Duma on renaming several streets of the city of Kirov come into force:

      Volodarsky St. to Nikitskaya

      St. Uritsky St. to Uspenskaya

St. Rosa Luxemburg St. to Morozovskaya

      St. Derendyaev St. to Svesvyatskaya

St. Karl Marx St. to Vladimirskaya

St. Karl Liebknecht St. to Defenders of the Fatherland

St. Gorbachev St. Albert Likhanov St.

As noted by Vyacheslav Simakov, the head of the Kirov administration, the new names were assigned to streets in order to restore historical names and eliminate duplication of addresses. He also added that at the moment one of the main tasks is to inform the residents of the city about the upcoming street name change.

The Kirov administration clarified that a memo has been developed for individuals and legal entities, which states in simple language which documents do not need to be changed, and also describes the algorithm for obtaining certain services. Currently, advertisements with a qr code are placed in the entrances of apartment buildings, which leads to the website where the memo is published. It can also be viewed on the administration's website and in local activity centers.
