Most of those traveling abroad apply for policies for 8-15 days, which is the typical length of their vacation. Among the additional options, customers prefer to choose accident insurance and apartment and luggage insurance for the duration of the trip. Also included in the top 5 are personal effects insurance and travel cancellation insurance. The most active period for registration of such policies begins in March and ends in October, with a peak in August.
Sales of property insurance policies also increased by 10% in the first three months of the year. They are mostly purchased on the eve of the summer season: the end of April — May. The period ends in September-October.
Russians most often study offers on Wednesday — this day accounts for 20% of all traffic to insurance companies' resources. Insurance is most rarely sought on Mondays (13%) and Sundays (14%). At the same time, smartphones have traditionally remained the main devices from which Russian users access insurance companies' websites.
