
In the Kirov region, men are more interested in insurance than women
In terms of interest in the terms and cost of policies, the Kirov Region ranked 21st, ahead of its neighbors, the Perm Region and Udmurtia. The top 5 includes Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Territory, Samara and Sverdlovsk regions.
Men are noticeably ahead of women in terms of interest in insurance policies: 64% of the total number of visitors to insurance companies' websites come from them. Users aged 35-44 are particularly actively studying the terms of policies — they make up 41% of all visitors to profile sites. They are followed by Kirov residents aged 45-54, who account for 24% of visits. The third place is occupied by users aged 25 to 34 (19%). Young people (14-24 years old) and older people (65+) are less interested in insurance than others — their share is only 6% and 2%.
In general, policies for people traveling abroad were particularly popular in Russia in the first quarter. Sales of such an insurance product increased by almost 25%. Most of those traveling abroad apply for policies for 8-15 days, which is the typical length of their vacation. Among the additional options, customers prefer to choose accident insurance and apartment and luggage insurance for the duration of the trip. Also included in the top 5 are personal effects insurance and travel cancellation insurance. The most active period for registration of such policies begins in March and ends in October, with a peak in August.
Sales of property insurance policies also increased by 10% in the first three months of the year. They are mostly purchased on the eve of the summer season: the end of April — May. The period ends in September-October.
Russians most often study offers on Wednesday — this day accounts for 20% of all traffic to insurance companies' resources. Insurance is most rarely sought on Mondays (13%) and Sundays (14%). At the same time, smartphones have traditionally remained the main devices from which Russian users access insurance companies' websites.

The most actively issued policies were for those traveling abroad. In addition, the demand for property insurance has increased as expected on the eve of the holiday season.
